Recipe: Leche Puto / Puto Flan

Leche Puto / Puto Flan recipe:


Leche Ingredients:
============
4 egg yolks
1 can condensed milk
2 tsp lemon juice

Puto Ingredients:
============
2 cups self-raising flour
1 tsp baking powder
2/3 cup white granulated sugar
½ tsp salt
4 egg whites (about 2/3 cup)
1¼ cups water
liquid food colouring (optional)

Procedure:
============
- Combined all ingredients for leche flan
- Put mixture in your puto mould (about 1/3-1/4 thick)
- Steam until slightly cook (about6 min) and remove from heat and let it cool
- Mix all dry ingredients for the puto and sift 3 times then add water,egg white and mix until well combined then pour onto the puto mould with the flan.
- Steam for 10-15 minutes or until cook.



Note:
- Steam time depends on the type of your mould
- If you have tried and tested recipe for puto and lecheflan - you may use it.



If the outcome is not what you are expecting... just say it LOUD --> "Leche Puto"

Make some adjustments and do it again.....
